"On the blog again. Just can't wait to get on the blog again."

Oh how I have missed my blogging... I miss sharing the funny daily life things with friends and family and of course, the pictures! So, we are off to a fresh start. It's a new year and with Spring almost here it feels like a new beginning! I am not going to try and commit to 365 days again. You can see how well that worked out last year...not so much. I did ok until Alaina didn't stay in one spot anymore and after that it was just all down hill. I post on facebook a lot, but, you cannot write a lot on there and I like to write! :o) So, here we are. I make no promises of frequency, but, I promise I will try not to skip seven months again...

So, Miss Alaina Grace will be 17 months on March 28th. Oh, how time has flown!! I would like to say she is getting "big" but, while she is getting older, she is not getting much "bigger." We just turned her carseat around to the forward facing position 2 weeks ago! We had finally made it to 20 lbs 8 oz. She is so much fun right now. Very animated, loves to play, walk, run, and especially talk. She will NOT say Mama or Mommy. Not that she can't, she just won't. She says a lot of things with M, but refuses to spit that one out. However, DaDa and Daddy are frequently used. As is, Duncan. Yep, the dog was acknowledged before me. This week our "new words" are Hi and Kitty. She says "Hi" to EVERYONE we come in contact with and we chase Maggie and Sam around the house shouting "KITTY!!" Seems like she is learning something new every day.

I finally got my new camera last week when I got my bonus from work. I decided to go with the Nikon D90. I really liked the D300S but as I researched it I decided at this point in time it is bit too much for me. Not to mention, another $1000+ in price... Need to take a little time to learn. So, been taking a lot of pictures with it and playing around.

Bath time!! Alaina LOVES bath time!

Today was the first nice day of they year. It was around 66 degrees with a light wind this afternoon so I took Alaina outside in the front of the house to get some fresh air.

Oh how she loved the swing!! She threw a FIT when we had to go inside to get ready for dinner... Ask Grandma Jane. She was on the phone when we had to go inside!

And look! Some flowers are starting to peek through!!
